Grinding your own spices makes all the difference when it comes to freshness and flavor. For this recipe, all you have to do is crush the spices into a coarse mixture so that they can infuse their flavors into the water and milk.
Ingredients:
1 2-inch cinnamon stick
4 whole cloves
1 tsp black peppercorns
6 green cardamom pods
3 slices of fresh ginger
1 cup water
1-2 black tea bags
¾ cup milk of choice
Sweetener of choice (optional)
Directions
Yield: 1-2 servings
